GroundEye

GroundEye is Tbit’s system that operates in conjunction with all equipment of the same name. It works by combining computer vision with artificial intelligence to identify, measure, and classify objects of interest. Both the equipment and the application are versatile in the sense that they can analyze virtually anything that: fits within the equipment’s useful area; has determinable two-dimensional visual characteristics. In this way, it is possible to work with seeds, grains, seedlings, saplings, powdered products, liquid or pasty products, fruits, and even Petri dishes with microorganisms.

AI tools operate in a way that each customer can work with their own database. In this way, calibration is done according to the characteristics, particularities, and patterns of their product, which may be very different from that of another company in the same segment. In addition, the confidentiality of the generated images is guaranteed: the files are not shared under any circumstances. In fact, Tbit only has access to files sent by customers in specific situations such as AI training and diagnostics.

The same system can work on multiple species, classifications, and objectives, even if they are completely independent. The idea is that several solutions are available in the same environment, with just a few clicks to change the configuration. In this way, the same seed sample, for example, can generate a statistical report of defects, an electronic sieving report, and a last report containing individual information.

A high-performance computer is not necessary to use the system: Tbit’s business model is designed to make the operator’s life easier. All tool training, the most costly part of the process, is done by our team, allowing the user to focus on image generation and, of course, data collection and use.
